Service Description

Global Transitions is an elite youth sports development program, Youth Track and Field Team and Professional Track and Field Team. Established in 2015 within the Hampton Roads area, its mission is to inspire and drive the student athlete to achieve leadership, discipline, responsibility and education through the sport of track & field. Furthermore, GTA exists to support youth athletes ages 5-18 in following ways:  Give athletes the opportunity to compete at elite level of competitions.  Providing youth with a vehicle to help divert from negative juvenile activities and behaviors by instilling visions of great possibilities and opportunities, based upon the travel & experiences of competing at prestigious colleges throughout the United States of America.  To provide student-athletes with the science and knowledge of track and field athletics  To develop team and individual championships in USA Track and Field (USATF) and Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) sponsored meets.  To provide student-athletes with an opportunity to receive a post-secondary educational scholarship.  Providing a fun yet challenging program for kids who love athletics and consider track as a primary sport.  To provide student-athletes with a safe, fun and stimulating summer environment.  Ensure student-athletes achieve their realistic individual goals of becoming better athletes and obtaining college scholarships Global Transitions provides information on the science and knowledge of track and field. Our coaches prepare strategic workouts for athletes and pride ourselves on helping the athlete understand the science of bio-mechanics and Kinesiology, in hopes that they not only run faster but know why they are running faster. Global Transitions Athletics operates by the phrase “quality over quantity”. In order to build and develop, student athletes need repetitions, meaning the smaller the group the more times a student athlete can perfect the task at hand.
